Pound said that the event will be postponed to 2021 and the details will be worked out in the next four weeks. Notably, Pound has been one of the most influential members for decades.

On the basis of the information the IOC has, the postponement has been decided. The parameters going forward have not been determined, but the Games are not going to start on July 24, that much I know.”
