With all athletes in a tight bio bubble at the Olympic Village, they find themselves with little to do apart from training. While some of them may carry out various individual activities, some of them use social media effectively.

Recently, Biles made a call out to her followers on Instagram with a simple request, “Tell me a secret – I’m bored.” While some of them spoke about trivial issues, one of them spoke about an extremely personal secret. He said“I still haven’t told my dad I’m gay even though everyone else in my family knows.”

While Biles kept her composure, she replied, “Tell him, be free, be yourself. I support you. For anyone else struggling with telling family or friends, just know I will always welcome you with open arms on my page and platforms.”

Despite the scale of the fan’s admission, Biles’ response exemplifies maturity, defying her young age of 24.
