Petra Kvitova gets bageled in the finals set
The World No.13, who was just not in her usual form, made 37 unforced errors during the match, 19 in the third set, lost the final set in utter disgraceful fashion. Alison completed a bagel over her opponent and advanced into the third round.
The Belgian was in total command after she missed out on the first set. She was better at receiving the service from the Czech’s end, which also proves her break point conversion; she converted seven of the 14 break point opportunities she had.

Petra was one of the favorites to go a long way in the tournament. However, her string of bad form started earlier in Jun; she lost her first-round match against Sloane Stephens at the 2021 Wimbledon Championships.
