Rock Legend Bruce Springsteen?s daughter Jessica Springsteen has made it into an Olympics final. The 29-year-old equestrian has advanced to the Team jumping finals at the Tokyo Olympics 2020 with Team USA.

The Boss? daughter helped Team USA advance to the finals with a near-perfect jaunt. She wasn?t able to qualify for the Individual Jumping event after she ranked No. 14 in the world. She will, however, go for gold with Team USA, who looked very strong.

Jessica Springsteen – Olympic debut

The 29-year-old daughter of Rock Icon Bruce Springsteen and his E Street Band wife, Patti Scialfa, reached the Team finals. Jessica Springsteen is not just another pretty face with a rich dad. She has worked her way to the World No. 14 ranking and has an amazing horse.?

In the final qualifying round, Springsteen and her horse Don Juan van de Donkhoeve put up an impressive run. They put together an 80.67 second run on the 14-jump course, with just one 4 point penalty. It was an almost flawless run.?

Her horse knocked down the rail on the 13th jump. None of her American teammates could qualify for the individual events either. So the Americans will look to contend for their second straight medal after winning Silver in RIo.

Road to the Olympics?

Jessica Springsteen took her first riding lessons at 5. She has been in love with horses and the sport ever since. She fell in love with jumping when she saw her mother riding horses and jumping fences.?

The family has a farm in New Jersey where riding horses in the backwoods and going on horse rides is a family tradition. Her parents have supported her throughout her career. “I’ve been so grateful that my parents have supported me throughout my career,” she said.?

“They’ve been on this journey for me. It’s been like a huge dream for them as well, so I’m just really happy that I can make them proud.”
