Punk revealed he was back to wrestle; he is here for the young talent. He added he wants to give the fans real pro wrestling.

In a rather controversial statement, he said the last time he wrestled was on his last day in Ring of Honour. The statement marvelled some fans, while some fans definitely erred to the same. Punk also stated that apart from being invested in young talent, he would also like to settle scores. This is an interesting proposition as fans have been booking fantasy matches for ages and now they can come true.

Punk also quoted, “I have a few scores to settle in this locker room“. This now is very interesting to ponder on. As people are aware of his fractured friendship with Colt Cabana after their Court case. There have also been moments where Chris Jericho has called out Punk. With the Forbidden door open, prospects of matches between Punk and Ospreay are also bright. One thing is for sure, with Punk’s arrival, AEW has caused a paradigm shift.
