A deadly striker back in the 1950s, Fatton was one of the best Swiss forwards of his time. He spent most of his club career with Servette FC in Switzerland. He also played for Lyon for three years between 1954-57, helping them win the league before returning to Servette. He also has 3 World Cup Goals to his name.
4) André Abegglen : 52 Caps, 29 Goals
The lad who died at the young age of 35, Abegglen was a really prolific striker. Scoring 240 Goals in 318 Games in his club career is a great achievement, but it is even better to bring that form onto the International front. A look at Abegglen’s goal scoring stats is enough to prove his quality. He also has a World cup hat trick to his name with four goals in total.
3) Max Abegglen : 68 Caps, 34 Goals
The elder brother of André Abegglen, Max Abegglen was also a prolific striker and was the sole leading goalscorer for the Swiss team until his record was broken in his 62nd and final international in 2001. Also Max Abegglen has a Swiss football club derived from his name, “Neuchtel Xamax”.
2) Kubilay Türkyilmaz : 62 Caps, 34 Goals

Swiss International of Turkish decent, Kubilay spent his club career playing in Switzerland, Italy and Turkey. He enjoyed successful seasons with Galatasaray and Grasshopper winning the Turkish League and the Swiss League respectively.

1) Alexander Frei : 84 Caps, 42 Goals
One of the best Swiss player of all time, Alexander Frei has enjoyed a successful career. He won all the major Swiss honors with FC Basel and was twice given the golden boot. He also helped Stade Rennais finish fourth in ligue 1 back in 2004/05 season, winning the golden boot in the process. He also enjoyed a successful spell with Borrusia Dortmund in Germany, though he failed to win any major honor. His Individual Honors list is quite impressive though.
