Top Five Management is one of the top sports agencies with many clients. One of their top clients (pun not intended), Sofia Kenin, achieved a lot in 2020. She won her first Slam at the Australian Open, reached the final of the French Open, and also attained a career-high ranking of World No. 4.

Considering this success, many thought that Top Five Management would continue working with Kenin. However, to everyone’s surprise, they recently ended their collaboration. In a statement, the sports agency said,

“Due to difficulties with the athlete’s environment, Top Five Management has decided not to extend its collaboration with Sofia Kenin. After joining Top Five Management, the U.S. tennis rising star delivered an outstanding performance during season 2020…Top Five Management wishes Sofia all the best for the future.”

The split with Top Five Management has come at a very bad time for Sofia Kenin as the 2021 season is beginning soon. However, she will not focus too much on it as she will be training hard for her upcoming events in the year.

The American star hasn’t yet revealed which events she is playing. However, the Australian Open will definitely be on the top of her priority list.

After winning it in 2020, she is definitely looking to defend her title this year. It will be tough as no one has done it since Victoria Azarenka back in 2013. However, we can expect Sofia to give her best shot when the event begins on February 8th.
