The Cowboys are speculated to pay Williams over $50 million in the next three years, and he proved his worth on the field with his play against the Las Vegas Raiders. Following this, it was no surprise that Diggs made the public demand on social media.

The Jets initially picked Williams at third overall in the 2019 NFL draft, and his strong play kept him with the team throughout the years. He was tied in a four-year deal with the Jets, worth $96 million, before signing with the Cowboys earlier. It is safe to say he is one of the more promising defensive tackles in the sport.

He was also satisfied with his performance in the debut game. Williams made it clear that he would want to see himself delivering at this level for the team regularly.

Quinnen Williams reviews his performance against the Raiders

Undoubtedly, the Cowboys made the right choice by signing the defensive tackle. Quinnen Williams was impeccable in his debut game for the team, and apart from the assisted tackles, he also performed a solo tackle. Looking back at the game, he sounded rather satisfied with his performance.

“I want to keep stacking these, man,” he said. “I want to keep stacking these performances, and I want to keep getting better week in and week out. And it’s just the main goal, man, to keep getting better, keep stacking up the good things, fix the bad things, and win football games.”

Williams, along with Osa Odighizuwa and Kenny Clark, was able to defend strongly against the Raiders. While this kept them from scoring points, the Cowboys’ offense delivered four touchdowns, paired with a field goal, to give them the dominating hand in the game.

As the season continues, it would be Williams’ natural expectation to have more opportunities to celebrate with his “money dance,” as Diggs wanted him to. While he delivered just what the team expected in his debut game, can he exceed those expectations ahead in the season?
