Trouble Continues as Charles Leclerc Crashes Out of the German Grand Prix

In a fashion identical to how Sebastian Vettel crashed in 2018, Charles Leclerc put an end to his 2019 German Grand Prix, getting caught in the ever increasing track running on Slicks.

For a rare change, Ferrari did manage to find the perfect strategy for their driver, only for luck to screw them up eventually. He had two free pit stops, one for fresh inters and one for slicks. When he came out of his second pit stop, he was up in second, only behind Lewis Hamilton who was yet to take his pit stop for Inters.

As soon as Lewis went into the pits, the VSC, which was there because of Lando Norris’ McLaren, turned OFF, which meant Leclerc had a good chance of fighting for lead when the Briton would have come off. However, with the increasing rain and wet track, he got caught in the rain and went off track and into the gravel.

He was heard shouting on the radio, the frustration being evident. Here, watch the video:
