Twitter Erupts as Simona Halep Crushes Serena Williams at Wimbledon Championships 2019

World no. 7, Simona Halep grabs her second grand slam title at the Wimbledon Championships 2019 after defeating the 7-time Wimbledon Champion, Serena Williams 6-2, 6-2 in her first finals at the All England Lawn Tennis Club.

In the first set of episode XI between the two, the Romanian star dominated the first set as she broke twice to win the first set 6-2. The 23-time grand slam champion couldn’t come back into the match in the second set as Simona Halep again broke twice to conquer the second set 6-2 her and the 27-year old captured her first Wimbledon Championships title.
