On Day 4 of the ongoing Chennai test between India and England, Karun Nair became just the second Indian to score a triple hundred after Virender Sehwag did it twice (319 and 309).
After being unbeaten on 71* at stumps on Day 3, Nair added a mammoth total of 232 runs into his tally on Day 4 to end the innings being unbeaten at 303*. Nair is only the third batsmen to have converted his maiden century into a triple after?Garry Sobers (365*) and?Bob Simpson (311).
