Well the Malaysian Grand Prix has concluded and it was full of dramas, overtakes and heartbreaks. At the end while some went away feeling elated, other’s expectations went up in flames quite literally.Even Ricciardo twitter went into a frenzy as on one side Ricciardo fans rejoiced, Hamilton’s went into mourning.
So gutted for @LewisHamilton today to have it taken away from him again. 5 races to go. Not over yet. #MalaysiaGP #TeamLH

But out of the race, Hamilton immediately demanded answers and went as far as suggesting a conspiracy theory against him.

On the other hand, Ricciardo finally grabbed that long overdue win that had eluded him twice this season. The Aussie battled hard for a second spot with Verstappen a lap before Hamilton retired. With a Virtual safety car in place to remove the #44 Mercedes W07, Red Bull called in both the drivers to the pits to secure a 1-2.

As Ricciardo won, the shoey returned and this time no one was spared, everyone on the podium place were made to drink the shoey from Verstappen to Horner and even Rosberg whose facial expressions after drinking it showed it was not one bit good ;-P

For the current championship leader it was one hell of a roll coaster ride. Getting tagged into a spin by Vettel at the very first corner, the race turned into a nightmare for him but kudos he put in a brilliant recovery drive to climb to 5th. But next up was Raikkonen and closing in on the Ferrari for the couple of laps Rosberg put up an all elbows out move at turn 2 for which he incurred a 10 sec penalty. At the same time Hamilton retired and the podium place suddenly opened up and Rosberg blitz to it by putting 13 seconds between himself and Raikkonen to compensate for his penalty and rake up a 23 point lead in the championship.
My driver of the day: @nico_rosberg Brilliant drive. #MalaysiaGP

Away from the top 3, Kimi Raikkonen brought the sole Ferrari home at P4 and P5 went to Bottas courtesy a superbly executed one-stop strategy. The Force Indias crossed the line P6 and P8 to lead the thrilling battle for the 4th place on the Constructors Standing by 3 points.
Well done @ForceIndiaF1 but it would have been P5 if they got it right in terms of tyre strategies #MalaysiaGP #F1 https://t.co/e1R6Ol8HQm

The star of the race should have been Fernando Alonso who started from the back of the grid to climb up to P7 and put a seal on the McLaren-Honda’s progress. Teammate Button too crossed the line in points at P9.
Amazing race from @McLarenF1, so proud to support them, well done @alo_oficial & @JensonButton #JB300 #MalaysiaGP

But in points was the Renault of Palmer who finally broke his duck.
Apart from the race, Vettel’s crash came under intense criticism with Verstappen calling his move “crazy” were in no mood of letting him off the hook either.
Verstappen also calls Vettel a crazy and an idiot because he made a stupid move to crash onto his German compatriot. #F1 #MalaysiaGP
