Twitter reacts to Serena’s shocking exit

In one of the biggest upsets of the year, American Serena Willliams made a shocking exit after losing to Elina Svitolina of Ukraine in the Round 16.

The top seed made uncharacteristic errors in her 6-4 6-3 defeat and later opted to skip the post- match news conference. “The better player won. It was a great opportunity that didn’t work out the way I wanted it to. At least I was able to make Rio, which was one of my goals. It was awesome, but it’s over now”, read the Team USA spokesperson.With the Men’s top seed Novak Djokovic bundled out of Olympics already, it was another shocking result for everyone following the games. The twitter was buzzing too.
