Earlier this week, Indian football ace Sunil Chhetri took to Twitter to urge fans to support football. Soon, he was joined by various Indian sports stars ranging from Sachin Tendulkar to Virat Kohli. The plea cam on the eve of the Intercontinental Cup between India, Kenya, Chinese Taipei and New Zealand.

Later, the Indian football team would go on to win against Chinese Taipei and Kenya. India’s next match will be against New Zealand on 7th June. The Men in Blue are ranked 97th in the FIFA rankings and are the highest-ranked of the 4 teams.
