Twitter Reacts to Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War Zombies Reveal

The highly anticipated Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War Zombies reveal is finally here and it seems Treyarch has decided to start afresh. Additionally, this Zombies mode stays in the universe that Black Ops 4 concluded, and tells a whole different story. The mode borrows a lot of its elements from the Black Ops Cold War and merges it with the Zombies universe.

This is the first time that Call of Duty Zombies will have both cross-gen and cross-play capabilities. This is great news for fans across platforms who will play together, regardless of the generation of their platform.  Additionally, the game’s new map will be called Die Maschine”.

Grigori returns to Call of duty Black Ops Cold War Zombies

Operative Grigori Weaver returns to action in Black Ops Cold War Zombies. The official blog reads, “As part of Requiem, a CIA-backed international response team led by Grigori Weaver from the original Black Ops story, operatives explore a World War II bunker that hasn’t only been ravaged by time… 

“While fighting to suppress the unnatural phenomena at this graffiti-skinned, boarded-up bunker, Requiem team members investigate what lies beneath this structure that’s been left to crumble after decades of disservice. Should they succeed, Requiem may uncover a cache of decades-old secrets that upend the global order.”

Is Call of Duty Cold War Already Better than Modern Warfare?

Grigori and his operatives will face a rival Soviet-led division that will stand in their way. They intend to unravel the mysteries that the classic bunker map of “Nacht der Untoten” has underneath it.  The reveal was also quiet and extensive, much like the Black Ops Cold War reveal itself.

Players and influencers have been looking for clues, Easter Sggs etc. for the past few days. Finally, all the sleuthing bore fruit as the Zombies trailer was revealed.

It was quite an impressive reveal both in terms of graphics and the keeping the mode’s original feeling intact. The developers have definitely done a fantastic job with it and the fans absolutely love the effort put in by them. Take a look at how Twitter reacted to the reveal, below:

The reveal was largely successful as everyone from the community absolutely loved it. The Zombies mode will come out with the full game on November 13 and will be available in the beta launch as well.
