The Serb pulled off three Grand Slams in a row beginning from the Wimbledon in 2018 and was considered as one of the favourite faces of the Californian desert tournament. The defeat of Novak Djokovic created havoc in the tennis world as he could just convert one out five break points and got eliminated in the third round of the Indian Wells 2019.
