Fernando Alonso stunned many when he announced that he will not be racing in F1 in 2019. In a statement earlier today, he made the emotional announcement that he will step away from the sport. This provides him with a chance to compete in the IndyCar series and attempt the Indy 500.
When the announcement was made, the tributes to the Spaniard came flooding in.
