World No. 10, Sindhu has made India proud over her, although she settled for silver with the match statistics as : 21-12, 12-21, 15-21.

This Defeat will hurt Sindhu, as she had rallied superbly to come back from 6-11 and 16-19 to win the first game; still it needed something superior to beat a champion like Marin, who played like a champion, pacing the game in her own way and forced Sindhu to commit errors.
