This year has seen several delays in the launch of some magnificent titles. Watch Dogs: Legion just joined an elite list of titles that have received a 2021 window of release.

Titles like Halo Infinite and Cyberpunk 2077 have been on the fan’s wishlist for months. The delay in the release of Halo Infinite gutted Xbox patrons who found themselves without an exclusive title at launch.

Watch Dogs Legion debuted recently. Ubisoft’s initial plans would have also seen a multiplayer mode of the game coming out before the end of this year. Alas, those plans have undergone a massive change as Ubisoft has just put the multiplayer on a back-burner until an unspecified date in 2021.

Apart from fixing these issues, the update is largely focused on providing stability to the game and also give PC players an option to manually save their game.

The online mode that was set to launch on December 3 would have rolled out with several updates. This included a free roam mode where up to four players could get together to complete side activities and a mode dedicated to co-op missions. These should now arrive by 2021 as admitted by Ubisoft.
