Ubisoft Will Give Free Copy of Watch Dogs 2 to Event Viewers

This weekend’s Ubisoft Forward event is one that you do not want to miss. Following the cancellation of E3 2020 because of the pandemic, a lot of video game developers have had to host their own online events to make announcements about their upcoming releases.
Ubisoft has been cooking quite a few titles under their hood for a while now. Of course, we know of Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla and Hyper Scape. This event will be providing more insight into these titles and others they have been working on. Yes, Watch Dogs: Legions, we are looking at you. Reportedly, Ubisoft will also be releasing the first gameplay of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla in this event. But the video game giants have a little something lined up as a gift for the viewers.

As we said before, Ubisoft will be revealing more details about the third installment of the Watch Dogs series. Set in a fictionalized London, Watch Dogs Legions follows the endeavors of the London wing of DedSec in battling an authoritarian regime that has taken full control of the United Kingdom. Like the other installments in the series, Legions will also feature an open world. Legions will release on Microsoft Windows, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
It is quite generous of Ubisoft to give out Watch Dogs 2 for free to the viewers of this event. It is a quite effective marketing strategy, by ushering new players into the franchise this way. All you have to do is log in on your Uplay account and watch the event.
