UFC 243: Robert Whittaker vs Israel Adesanya- Full Fight Card

The biggest event in UFC history, UFC 243 features a champion vs champion clash. Reigning UFC middleweight champion, Robert Whittaker will step into the octagon to fight the interim middleweight champion, Israel Adesanya. In front of 60000 fans in the Marvel Arena, Melbourne Whittaker and Adesanya will go five rounds to unify the middleweight title. 

The action does not just stop there as we will see UFC lightweights, Dan Hooker, and Al Iaquinta face each other in the co-main event. Also, we can expect some a slugfest when Tai Tuivasa fights Sergey Spivak in the clash of the heavyweights.

Robert Whittaker vs. Israel Adesanya (Middleweight Title Fight):

In one of the most intriguing fight of this year, Middleweight champion, Robert Whittaker will make him return to the octagon since the fight against Yoel Romero. Whittaker has been inactive for last 2 years because of injuries. Meanwhile, Nigerian born champion, Israel Adesanya has been making statements with every single win in the division. With wins over Kelvin Gastelum and Anderson Silva, Adesanya has all the skills to unify the interim title in Melbourne. Well, it is easier said than done as we have never seen Whittaker quit since he moved up to middleweight. it’s safe to expect a battle of hearts and skills at the highest level when Adesanya challenges Whittaker in the main event.

Al Laquinta vs. Dan Hooker ( Lightweight )

In a lightweight battle, Dan Hooker will take on the former title challenger, Al Iaquinta. Dan Hooker is coming from an impressive knockout win over James Vick, while Ragin Al will is coming from a loss against Donald Cerrone. After giving the lightweight champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov the hardest battle of his career, Al Iaquinta became a top-ranked lightweight in the division. However, Dan Hooker is going to be one tough challenge for the New Yorker.

UFC is returning to Melbourne with arguably the biggest event in UFC history. UFC 243 will be live from Marvel Stadium, Melbourne.

Preliminary Card – 8 PM (EST), 5:30 AM (IST)

Early Preliminary Card – 6:45 PM (EST), 4:15 AM (IST)

Thanks to the ESPN deal with UFC, the entire UFC 243 card will be available live on ESPN+. The Early Prelims can be watched on both ESPN + and UFC Fight Pass. In the UK, UFC 243 can be watched on BT Sports. While in India you can catch the live action on Sony Ten 2HD, Sony Ten 2 and Sony PIX.

The stage can not get bigger than this. close to 60000 fans will be cheering for their hometown hero, Robert Whittaker and the Nigerian born champion, Israel Adesanya. In an event that may create history, expect some fireworks inside the octagon.
