Khabib Nurmagomedov Brands Conor McGregor as an “Old P*********”

It is public knowledge that Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor have a lot of bad blood between them. Khabib has now come out with a fresh jab at the Notorious One in an interview with ESPN’s Brett Okamoto.

Unsurprisingly, McGregor had a lot to say about Khabib pulling out of the fight with Tony Ferguson at UFC 249. The Irishman claims that Khabib has chickened out of the fight. And went on to goad Khabib to “add me in” to his Instagram Live session on Thursday.

Khabib fires back with a scathing jab at the Irish southpaw. The Dagestani fighter claims that Conor’s time is up. But he keeps on asserting himself in situations in search of attention.

Khabib ruled out the possibility of breaking the Coronavirus quarantine to compete at UFC 249. The location of which, still remains uncertain.

Dana White has been trying to make the fight a possibility by using any means possible, despite the global pandemic. However, governments ruling to enforce lockdown all across the world is becoming a huge hurdle for the UFC.

Conor McGregor Teases Fans About Replacing Khabib Nurmagomedov

After the news of Khabib backing out of the fight broke out in the public a number of fighters were eager to tap in. Conor McGregor being one of them. The Notorious One came out on Twitter claiming “I’m in shape to fight right now”. 

Tony Ferguson was also open to the idea and said, “nobody deserves that ass whooping besides two people. McNuggets [McGregor] and Team Tiramisu [Khabib]”. However, Khabib in the interview talks doubles down on his feeling about Conor taking up his spot.

It seems like some feuds never die out. Settling rivalries inside the cage is one way to go about it. However, the animosity some fighters bear for each other extends beyond the confines of an octagon.
