Twitter Salutes Tony Ferguson After Surviving a Barrage of Attacks From Justin Gaethje
The biggest event amid the Coronavirus epidemic has just ended and there are a lot of emotions surrounding the same. From ecstasy to anguish and disillusionment. The Twitter community has done a pretty decent job of expressing these emotions, following the fight between Justin Gaethje and Tony Ferguson.
Justin Gaethje has just been crowned the new interim UFC lightweight champion, following his victory over Tony Ferguson. Headlining at UFC 249, Gaethje stepped up at short notice to replace Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Gaethje has reached a significant milestone in his career, having shattered Ferguson’s streak of 12 consecutive wins. The fight came to an end with a fifth-round knockout. However, Gaethje is eager to move onto his next challenge, that is, the UFC lightweight champion, Khabib.
