May 9th and its star-studded card, cannot arrive fast enough for fans all over the world. However, what they have right now is a promo that promises all of that if not more.

Narrated by Ron Perlman, the promo avoids the circumstances under which the card was created and sticks to the present. That is, an interim title fight between Justin Gaethje and Tony Ferguson.

“The old saying is to always be ready. To pick up the phone when there’s a call to action. And who better to answer the bell than the human highlight reel himself,” said Perlman as he talks about Gaethje.

Khabib Nurmagomedov, who was looking to take on Ferguson before the Coronavirus forced him out of action, may or may not be waiting to take on the victor of this mega-fight. White has revealed that the unification of the title is the next step.

However, White fears what will happen if Ferguson beats Gaethje. For that will force White to set up yet another bout between Ferguson and The Eagle.

The co-main event features The King of Cringe, Henry Cejudo taking on former titleholder and all-time legend, Dominick Cruz. Making the third title defense since claiming it for himself from Demetrious Johnson, Triple C looks to make his record one better.

On the other hand, Cruz is looking to make a huge return to the ring after a rather long time. Many have claimed that the 35-year-old fighter does not deserve a shot at the title. Owing to his most recent fight being a loss against Cody Garbrandt back in 2016. They feel Cruz suffers from ring rust, which may as well be the case.

However, The Dominator, for one cannot wait to prove all his haters wrong.
