

After a long struggle, UFC President Dana White has finally made UFC 249 a reality. Everything is good to go for the event looking to take place on May 9th. And now begin the pre-fight rituals. For instance, promoting some of the biggest fights, ever to come out of the UFC, like that between Francis Ngannou and Jairzinho Rozenstruik.
In an attempt to entice fans and gather some momentum for upcoming fights, the UFC often releases videos. It seems like the UFC has outdone itself this time.
Ahead of a huge showdown between Ngannou and Rozenstruik, the promotion has released a video, giving The Predator’s fans a glimpse into his daily life going into UFC 249.

And it seems like the Cameroonian fighter is not going to leave any stone unturned when it comes to training for the fight.
“The difference between the Francis Ngannou of a few years ago and the Francis Ngannou of today is like some student who goes from middle school to college,” said the fighter.
Ngannou claims that a few years ago he was oblivious to the effects and necessity of a proper diet and the correct training can have on results. Ever since then, the fighter’s training regimen has undergone a monumental change.
And the results of the same are quite obvious. Ngannou has been putting in some serious elbow grease into his training ahead of his fight against Rozenstruik.
Gone are the days when brute strength is all that Ngannou cared about. Since having picked up a proper training regimen Ngannou has been honing all his skills including his cardio.
As Ngannou prepares for his fight against Jairzinho Rozenstruik at the UFC Performance Institute, we get to take a peek behind the curtain. The fans have been given an opportunity to watch the top heavyweight contender in his element.
The number 2 ranked heavyweight fighter in the division, Ngannou is a serious threat to Rozenstruik’s unblemished record. Ngannou is riding high with a three-fight win streak going into this fight. What’s astonishing is that the longest of his last three fights lasted 71 seconds.

Whereas, Rozenstruik, who is yet to be bested in the UFC comes in at number 6 in the heavyweight rankings. It is interesting to note that ‘Bigi Boy’ signed with the UFC just back in 2019. However, has already managed to move up to the 6th position.

Therefore, it is obvious that Ngannou’s upcoming fight will not be as easy as his last three fights. Only time will tell.
