The undisputed UFC Lightweight champion of the world is coming off an astonishing record of 28-0-0. In addition to this, he now looks to make his record greater by beating Tony Ferguson.
The Russian fighter feels he has been through every great fighter in the Lightweight division other than Tony Ferguson. He feels that once he beats Ferguson he can take his rightful place as Top Dog.

For instance, a broken rib resulted in Khabib pulling out of the fight in 2015 and sudden hospitalization in 2017. Similarly, Ferguson had to back out of the fight in 2016 and 2018.
