Where do we go from here?
However, recent title challenger Gilbert Burns remained largely unimpressed with the events that unfolded. He was slated as the original opponent to face Kamaru Usman. Unfortunately, he tested positive for COVID-19. The UFC number one ranked Burns will still be at the forefront for contention.

UFC 251 has delivered in more ways than one. In light of the pandemic, the UFC have shown themselves to be leaders in the sporting landscape. Chiefly, they have managed to do what no other sporting organization has been able to do. The highly touted main event has the sporting world up in the debate, as the uber-popular Jorge Masvidal goes back to the drawing board. Furthermore, Gilbert Burns is all but certain to become the next hungry challenger to the throne.
