UFC Featherweight Chan Sung Jung aka Korean Zombie took to Instagram and fired heavy artillery at the divisional champion. Alexander Volkanovski successfully retained his world title in a contentious decision victory over Max Holloway at UFC 251. Not to mention the fight served as the co-headlining feature on the highly anticipated introductory event taking place at Yas Fight Island.

Chiefly MMA fans and media were largely divided on the outcome of the fight with many scoring the fight 3-2 for ‘Blessed’. The eye-ball test was initially against the champion as Holloway started off strong in the first two rounds. The Hawaiian striker has now lost two in a row to Volkanovski and will return into the rotation for contention.

He came into the UFC back in 2011 after a respectable stint in the WEC and Pancrase. Chiefly his career has an inconsistent timeline, to say the least, that has seen multiple stints of inactivity. This occurred much in part to his mandatory service in the army that sidelined him from active competition. His return to the bright lights of the cage has seen him earn spectacular finishes Renato Moicano and Frankie Edgar.

A potential match-up against the champion will be just what the division needs after a controversial decision. Additionally, Brain Ortega has been a name synonymous with the Zombie and the two are expected to duke it out. Moreover, with a division stacked with elite talent, it is unclear who will be next for a crack at gold.
