“The Guy Is A Beast”-Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson Comments On Kamaru Usman Vs Jorge Masvidal

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson one of the most prominent figures in the combat sports industry is eagerly waiting for the showdown at The Fight Island.

Dwayne Johnson for almost his entire professional career has been in some way or the other linked with combat sports. Be it his time in the WWE or his connections to the UFC during his run in Hollywood. A well-known figure, The Rock talks about the main event and the two most talked about UFC fighters right now Masvidal and Kamaru Usman.

In an interview with ESPN, the Rock spoke very highly of both the fighters. When asked what about the current welterweight champion Kamaru Usman impresses him the most, Dwayne Johnson had a rather long list.

The Rock said, “The guy is a beast. He is an animal. I’ve got to know him a little bit via text message. I’ve always been a big fan of him. He’s decorated. He comes from a world of amateur wrestling and these guys are beast. National champion, and all American. I think he always comes out in great shape. He looks the part, he looks like the champion. I always got nothing but great things to say about him.”

He went on to say, “His last couple of fights, especially his last fight he was so precise, dominant where he needed to be. Cool and calm in the pockets. I can’t wait and it’s the reason why he’s undefeated.”

The Rock has some advice for Masvidal

The Rock also went on to offer some advice to Jorge Masvidal. He said, “He (Jorge Masvidal) needs to quiet the noise and just remember: Jorge Masvidal needs to do exactly what he was born to do, which is fight his a** off, and if he does these things, everything else is going to fall in place.”
