UFC 251: When Does it Start and Where to Watch

UFC 251 has fight fans champing at the bit as the promotion has delivered on three massive title fights. The main card is headlined by UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman, who faces off against Jorge Masvidal. The fight materialized on 6-day notice after ‘Gamebred’ stepped in for Gilbert Burns.

The number one contender in Burns withdrew from his bout against ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ after testing positive for COVID-19. The 2019 fighter of the year, Jorge Masvidal, has fans excited with his storied reputation for sensational knockouts.

Not to be disregarded is the co-main event between Alexander Volkanovski and Max Holloway. The two elite 145-pounders meet for the second time as long-time champion ‘Blessed’ looks to reclaim the strap.

Additionally, the UFC’s Bantamweight division will see the crowing of a new champion come July 11. The Russian Petr Yan prepares to meet the king of Rio Jose Aldo for the vacant title. Chiefly, the bout is being contested after former champion Henry Cejudo stepped away from active competition.

The first event set to take place in Abu Dhabi will additionally see 8 fights split into the prelims section and an early prelims section.

Moreover, the early prelims will air on Fight pass and begin at 6 pm ET and 3 pm PT. The regular prelim section of the fight card will air on ESPN and ESPN plus beginning at 8 pm ET and 5 pm PT.

The exhilarating aforementioned title bouts will be contested on pay-per-view via the ESPN plus platform. The main card is set to kick off at 6 am local time taking place in Abu Dhabi. The east coast of American will receive the blockbuster main card at 10 pm ET and west coast at 7 pm PT.

Kamaru Usman and Jorge Masvidal are slated to scrap around 12:15 ET with a dependence on the fights before them.

In the UK and Ireland respectively, the early prelims and the main card will be available on UFC Fight Pass and BT Sport. The prelims are available on both UFC Fight Pass and BT Sport whilst the main card being available at 3 am BST on BT Sport.

The main action is set to kick off at 7:30 am IST if you’re a fight fan from India. The prelims and early prelims will be available on Sony Ten 2 and Sony Ten 2 HD. Fans can also proceed to stream the action live on the SonyLiv app.

Moreover, In Australia, the main card is set to commence at 12 pm and 10 am AEST/AWST, respectively. Additionally, fans of the Russian title challenger will bear witness to the main card at 5 am (Sunday).
