UFC 252 is under twenty-four hours away and is all set to enthrall fans. The eleven fights on the card will go ahead live from the UFC Apex. However, two featherweight fights will proceed at catchweight instead of in their respective weight classes as they were unsuccessful in making weight.

T.J.Brown, who faces Daniel Chavez on the preliminary card, stepped onto the scales 0.5 pounds over the non-championship limit. Additionally, Herbert Burns, who will kick off main card proceedings, missed weight by a massive 3.5 pounds.

Nevertheless, his bout against Daniel Pineda will go ahead as he will give up 20% of his earnings.

This will mark Burns’ second catchweight bout in a row. Earlier, he competed and beat Evan Dunham in the opening contest of UFC 250. Like Burns, T.J.Brown too forfeited 20% of his fight purse to his opponent.

Daniel Cormier and Stipe Miocic make weight ahead of UFC 252

UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic stepped on the scale at 233 lbs and his opponent, the outgoing Daniel Cormier, weighed 236. As a result, the main event and biggest fight on the card will progress as per plan.
