UFC 252: Stipe Miocic vs Daniel Cormier
The Croatian-American fighter retained his world title as he won the day on the judge’s scorecards. The bouts were highly competitive, but Miocic negated the leg-kick heavy game of his opponent. Moreover, he displayed crisp striking throughout the fight and kept the match on the feet for most of its run time.

Cormier attempted to wrestle in the first round, but quickly reverted to trading with the undisputed champion. He found success at various points in the fight but was slowed down by the varied offensive arsenal by Miocic. Despite losing the trilogy, DC will go down as one of the best to step foot inside the cage.
