UFC Heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic has witnessed one loss and two consecutive wins during his rivalry with Cormier.

Talking about it, Miocic has said, “I am happy it’s done. I am tired. It’s like that girlfriend that you are dating, you are off, you are back on again, you are off, you back on again. It’s been hard, but god bless him.”

Miocic has already garnered a number of challenges from several competitors via Twitter. However, he is yet to respond to them. After the fight, ‘The Silencer’ claims to be too weary and wants to spend some time with his family.

Yet, Jon Jones and  Francis Ngannou are still awaiting a fight against Miocic. Dana White has already confirmed that Ngannou would be awarded the next title shot, considering his recent streak of dominance in the heavyweight roster.

After cementing a six-fight win streak in the promotion, Ngannou faced his first defeat against Mocic in their original matchup at UFC 220.

The Predator’s phenomenal strength did not prove to be beneficial as Miocic outstruck him throughout to claim the win via decision.

Despite that, Francis Ngannou redeemed himself with back-to-back first-round knockouts. Thus, the re-match may turn out rather differently this time around.
