In conversation with UFC correspondent Megan Olivi, he said that there was only one way he planned to finish off his opponent.

“Knocking him out! I love knocking people out, it’s what I love to do. That’s what the fans want. I love submission, jiu-jitsu is my favorite sport by far, but knocking people out is the best feeling. The fans, they do want to see a submission from me because I knock everyone out.”

Additionally, he surprised fans by revealing the jiu-jitsu was his sport of choice over more obvious options in striking.

The MMA community has been calling to action O’Malley’s prowess if the fight goes to the ground. He has doubled down that his grappling in the division is just as high caliber as his striking.

“I think ultimately if I go out there and knock him out the way I plan, it’s gonna be way more exciting than if I go out there and choke him.”

Marlon Vera has never been finished in his UFC career and has famed durability under the bright lights of the cage. ‘Sugar’ Sean would separate himself from the pack in more ways than one, by being the first man to stop ‘Chito’. MMA fans look forward to his third fight in 2020, and a possible highlight-reel finish to match.
