Griffin ended the fight in the second round via guillotine choke to hand Brown a humiliating defeat. That said, Chavez is also a ground specialist and can impose a similar sort of threat for TJ Brown.

Chavez, on the other side, had also been a featherweight champion in Global Legion Fighting Championship. Before donning his UFC contract, Chave made it huge at GLFC.

He also made a massive statement in 2016 by dropping two big wins at GLFC. However, he remained inactive for the entire 2017, only to land three knockout victories back-to-back in 2018.

This year, he notched the GLFC featherweight belt by knocking out Dylan Cala. However, he vacated the title and left the promotion to enter the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

While he has a worthy opponent in TJ Brown next, Chavez will look forward to making a sensational debut in the biggest MMA organization of the world.

Although Chavez has notched most of his career wins via decision, he can change the prefix by finishing Brown at UFC 252.

Meanwhile, Brown would also try to claim his first win in UFC. If not, the Kentucky native would face two back-to-back defeats in the promotion, a genuine threat for his future journey.

That said, the fight can very well hit the mat with both the men showing some great caliber. It is safe to state that both the contenders would want to finish the fight rather than taking it to the judge’s decision.
