The early preliminary card is done and dusted from the UFC 252 PPV event. UFC fans got thrilled with their first finish of the night in the second fight itself. Here UFC debutants Chris Daukaus and Parker Porter took to the octagon in a heavyweight clash.

However, the fight was quick and ended in a brutal ten-second sequence towards the latter stages of the first five minutes.

With seconds left in the opening round, the fighters began surveying each other. They stood poised and ready to strike. As the seconds ticked away, Daukaus connected with a left jab and followed it up with a right straight onto his opponent’s left cheek.

Porter went for haymaker to where he assumed Daukaus was. However, his opponent expected the response and moved his head back, causing him to miss.

The black trunk fighter followed it up with a three punch combination straight to Porter’s skull. A stunned Porter began stumbling backward as he felt another shot.

Daukaus didn’t relent and connected two more times as Porter hit the cage fence. He went down on a knee and got hit with a right knee and fell onto his back.

Referee Herb Dean quickly rushed in to wave the fight off and save Porter from any further punishment.

The win gave Daukaus his second professional triumph. Moreover, it allowed him to have a winning start to what is looking like a promising career in the UFC. This was his tenth win since turning professional way back in 2013.

Meanwhile, it will be back to the drawing board for Parker Porter, who would not have envisioned his bow in the big time ending in this fashion. He headed into the UFC on the back of two wins with the CES MMA promotion and hadn’t lost since 2018.
