The early prelims, featuring promotional newcomers Kai Kamaka III and Tony Kelley, start things off in a Featherweight bout.

The following bout will witness the finisher duo of Chis Daukaus and Parker Porter have a go at each other in a Heavyweight clash that promises resounding blows and an early end. Even the Boss seems excited about this one!

Prelims

The following fights will kick off the prelims of the night:

  • Ashley Yoder vs Livinha Souza [Strawweight bout]
  • TJ Brown vs Danny Chavez [Featherweight bout]
  • Felice Herrig vs Virna Jandiroba [Strawweight bout]

The final bout on the prelims card will feature a Lightweight bout between Jim Miller and Vinc Pichel. Miller holds the record for most wins in the Lightweight division of the promotion.

Whether he will be able to further his record on Saturday night by defeating ‘From Hell’ Pichel is something that will surely provide a good starting point to the main card.

Main card

Herbert Burns vs Daniel Pineda: Rising Featherweight Herbert Burns will return to take on seasoned veteran Daniel Pineda in the starter of the main event. Both fighters have shown constant improvement in their skills. Moreover, both fighters ensure that the fight does not slip away from them.

What’s even better is the stylistic match that the two will display on Saturday. Both fighters tend to finish their opponents on the ground via submission. Therefore, this bout promises to be a display of expert wrestling, wit, and sheer grit to carry on.

John Dodson vs Merab Dvalishvili: In yet another match between experience and young vigor, we will see Bantamweight veteran John Dodson take on 29-year-old Merab.

Dvalishvili is coming fresh off a dominant victory over Gustavo Lopez. Therefore, he will look to keep the momentum going in this fight. Thus, we are in for a classic striker vs wrestler brawl.

Junior dos Santos vs Jairzinho Rozenstruik: The former heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos will return to fight heavy-hitter Jairzinho Rozenstruik in one of the three Heavyweight fights on the card.

The bout promises to be entertaining as both fighters will look to finish each other. The 3-round stand-up war will decide which of the two enters top 4, with ‘Cigano’ at #5 and Rozenstruik at #6.

Sean O’Malley vs Marlon Vera (Co-Main event): Rising Bantamweight prodigy Sean O’Malley will meet his toughest match yet in the seasoned 27-year-old, Marlon Vera. ‘Chito’ brings along with him a vast arsenal of all fighting styles, making him a force to reckon with.

The ‘Suga Show’ could end up in a brawl on the ground as Vera aims to take him away from his stand-up element. Therefore, we may finally see how Sean fares on the ground, and see whether his ‘secret weapon’ of Jiu-Jitsu aids him.

Stipe Miocic vs Daniel Cormier (Main event)

The final showdown that everyone has been waiting for. The conclusion to arguably the best trilogy in MMA history will feature DC in his last outing inside the Octagon. Miocic will defend his Heavyweight title against Cormier for the second time.

This fight will also decide who the greatest Heavyweight of all time is. ‘Stone Cold‘ already holds the top spot in contention for the Heavyweight GOAT. In a fight that promises to be an all-out war, it will be interesting to see who returns as a God of MMA.
