Jan Blachowicz will defend his light-heavyweight title against Israel Adesanya at UFC 259. The middleweight champion is looking to become one of the very few fighters to achieve the simultaneous double champion status in the UFC. Former UFC double champion, Daniel Cormier, has some words of advice for Izzy ahead of his historic quest.

DC believes the 205lbs division champion, Blachowicz, is often overlooked by the MMA community and doesn’t get the deserved respect. Can Israel Adesanya create history at UFC 259?

Adesanya came up much lighter in weight than Blachowicz at the weigh-ins. However, Cormier believes Blachowicz is a different beast than anybody Izzy has ever fought. He possesses superlative power in everything he does inside the Octagon. So, ‘The Last Stylebender’ can’t afford to get hit once by Blachowicz as it could change the course of the fight.

But, Blachowicz is more than just a physical specimen. He is a complete mixed martial artist who possesses superlative skill sets. Regardless of the outcome, fans will be in for a mouth-watering contest.
