UFC 260 is on the horizon, and fans are excited to witness a titanic heavyweight clash in the main event. Francis Ngannou aims to make good on his second title shot against Stipe Miocic, who has claimed heavyweight GOAT status. Both men have had a long road back to each other that has involved dedication towards other opponents. Now, their fight will have another champion in close quarters.

Chiefly, the Cameroonian fighter, Ngannou, will have an ace UFC champion in the corner in the form of fellow-African Kamaru Usman. ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ and Ngannou have been tremendous supporters of each other and they have linked up for UFC 260.

Kamaru Usman is one of the very best on the UFC roster when it comes to implementing his wrestling into MMA. He’s able to blend his striking and grappling seamlessly, and this is something Ngannou is going to have to do against Miocic. In their first fight, Stipe Miocic was able to negate Ngannou’s crushing power by grounding him at will.

The aforementioned fight has been the only one to make for over a year as ‘The Predator’ stepped into his role as a top contender. Francis Ngannou has rattled off four straight KO wins in his last four outings. Moreover, the devastation of his handiwork alone has been enough to warrant a title shot.

Stipe Miocic has had his hands full with Daniel Cormier for the last three years, ever since he was KO’ed by ‘DC’. With the rubber match between them finally in the books, Miocic has been able to turnaround to face Ngannou. Despite his incredible body of work, it seems like there’s a section of the fanbase overlooking him once again.

A win over the clear number one contender is sure to solidify Stipe Miocic’s legacy more than it is currently. Mainly, he’s attempting to rack up defenses and make sure no one usurps his reign as the top dog at heavyweight.
