Francis Ngannou will look to become the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world at UFC 260. ‘The Predator’ who will fight Stipe Miocic in a rematch from UFC 220, is keen to level the score. Ahead of the main event, he sat down for an interview with Sony Sports India and his mind was far away from the fight as he touched on his love for Asian films.

Ngannou happens to be a vivid Bollywood fan and name-dropped movies like Teri Kasam, Disco Dancer, and more. He even sang the famous ‘I am a Disco Dancer’ song from the Disco Dancer movie.

By the time we didn’t have T.V. and I have to walk like one hour to go to see movie. And by the time you walk there, you reach there, they can’t even let you in to see movie,” said Ngannou.

Not many would have expected a UFC heavyweight fighter to know about Hindi cinema, but considering his roots, this shouldn’t come as much of a surprise.

Disco Dancer is a famous Indian movie starring Mithun Chakraborty. Ngannou certainly did a great impression of him by even giving the beat between the lines of the song.

‘The Predator’ will look to avenge the sole loss of his career at UFC 260 in the UFC Apex. In the previous fight, Miocic exposed Ngannou’s inexperience and controlled him for the full 5-rounds. Subsequently, ‘The Predator’ had a dismal outing against Derrick Lewis and then he went on a first-round KO spree to reassert himself as the top challenger.

However, he has the same man that outdid him, standing across him again. Miocic is certainly the more skilled fighter, but Ngannou always has that knockout punch trump card up in his sleeves as one clean shot from ‘The Predator‘ can put it all to bed. It remains to be seen if he can land one clean fight-ending punch on Stipe Miocic this time around.
