UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya spoke out on the mic after defending his belt for the third time at UFC 263. ‘The Last Stylebender’ won a dominant decision over Marvin Vettori and put an end to their rivalry. Chiefly, both men have had a professional rivalry brewing since they fought back in April 2018.

However, there wasn’t much left to chance in the second outing, as Adesanya put on a striking clinic. After the win, Israel Adesanya candidly spoke to Joe Rogan about his teammate, Fau Vake, who was murdered in an altercation. ‘Izzy’ was emotional as he dedicated his most recent victory to his City Kickboxing Teammate.

“Even in his last sparring with me, he whooped my a**, whooped my a** so I have to give you credit, Fau. Trust me, I’m never going to get that one back, but I’m glad you whopped my a** on your last sparring.”
