Terrance McKinney, who was making his UFC debut, may never have imagined his first fight playing out this way. Following his blistering start, it’s safe to say he’s off to the races. ‘T.Wrecks’ secured the fastest KO in the lightweight division’s history in the early prelims section for UFC 263.

McKinney put out Matt Frevola in seven seconds of round one. The lightning-quick finish was book-ended by a celebration that ended up injuring McKinney’s knee.

Matt Frevola is a tried and tested commodity with 6 UFC fights under his belt. Hence, the KO came out of the blue. ‘The Steamrolla’ was caught off guard with McKinney’s speed that was crucial in securing the finish.

‘T-Wrecks’ McKinney came into the organization off a consolidated run from LFA and he’s begun his UFC run on the right track. He’s riding a four-fight win streak and is a promising prospect in the lightweight division.

Chiefly, the UFC’s 155-pound division is arguably the most competitive weight class on the roster and it’s hard to make an impression. However, Terrance McKinney will be keen to continue his trajectory up the ranks of the UFC. He has started out well and put the 155-pounders on notice.
