UFC welterweights Michel Pereira and Niko Price delivered on the fan speculation that they would be contenders for ‘Fight of the Night’. ‘Demolidor’ put his flashy skill set on full display into an all-out war for three straight rounds. In turn, Niko Price displayed his granite chin and began to come back stronger in the final round.

In the second round of the fight, Michel Pereira landed an illegal kick in the most bizarre fashion possible. True to form, Pereira performed a backflip and landed squarely onto Niko Price’s head as he was grounded on the canvas. The blow seemed to disorient Price the moment it landed, and the crowd in attendance became animated.

Chiefly, Pereira has built up a reputation for being a wild man under the bright lights of the octagon. Despite a more measured performance in his last fight, fans knew that Niko Price would bring out the more energetic side of his game.
