UFC bantamweight star Sean O’Malley on his podcast made his picks for the main card fights. He started with the Frankie Edgar and Marlon Vera fight. According to him, Vera is going to beat the veteran, but not via a stoppage. He said, “Frankie, Chito. No. 8 vs. No. 13. I just feel like Chito’s gonna beat him… I think it’s going to be probably a somewhat of a boring decision.”

Suga‘ also believes that Shane Burgos vs. Billy Quarantillo will be a sweet fight as both fighters throw bombs. Talking about Justin Gaethje vs. Michael Chandler, he said, “That’s a main event dude. I like both of them. I would love to see a good scrap. Three rounds too.”

He picked Rose Namajunas to take home the W in a five-round scrap with Zhang Weili in the UFC strawweight title fight. After that, he came down to the main event between Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington. He said, “Kamaru vs. Colby dude. How do you beat f**king Kamaru? I would love to see Colby champ dude. I would love to hear what he says… This fight’s gonna be sweet.”

Sean O’Malley, like every other fight fan, is excited about UFC 268. The fights are expected to be epic and the main card will open with Gaethje vs. Chandler.

What’s next for Sean O’Malley

UFC 268 is surely going to be one of the biggest events of the year. However, UFC 269, in which O’Malley is also on the card, has the potential to be the biggest card of 2021. That card features title fights between Charles Oliveira and Dustin Poirier, and Amanda Nunes and Julianna Pena.

The card also features a huge fight between welterweight contenders Leon Edwards and Jorge Masvidal. There are a lot of other epic fights as well on the card, out of which one is off Sean O’Malley. He will face the #15 ranked Raulian Paiva. A win against him will get ‘Suga’ into the top 15 of the bantamweight division.

O’Malley is currently on a two-fight win streak and would want to continue his momentum if he wants to challenge the top guys in the future. However, Paiva is a difficult fighter to get through. He is on a three-fight win streak of his own and would like to put a stop to the rise of the O’Malley.
