Recently, XcellentMMA posted a video on Instagram that took Michael Chandler’s image way higher. It was captioned, “UFC fans are a different breed.” The footage included an interaction of the fighter with a fan. As the two were taking a picture, the fan said, “See you at the top.” The fighter responded with gratitude in his words.

Moreover, the fan asked Chandler to “kill” Dustin Poirier. However, ‘Iron’ remarked, “Kill Poirier? Dang, dude! I ain’t trying to kill him. He got a wife and a daughter.” Without a doubt, the reply sent waves of admiration toward the fighter. With the countdown to the fight running, Chandler indeed secured himself a few more supporters.

‘The Diamond’ might take the fight personally
Earlier, ‘Iron Mike’ made the claim that ‘The Diamond’ was taking the fight personally. However, he denied the same about himself. Chandler said, “I think it’s personal because of me, but not toward me, if that makes sense.” He further clarified, “I think Dustin’s been the guy who came in and have done what I’ve done. I don’t think it’s necessarily directed toward me personally, just this figure of this guy who is me stepping inside the cage.”
