Michael ‘Venom’ Page is now a free agent
Michael Page is one of the most entertaining fighters in the history of MMA. Fans know him for his flashy and theatrical antics and fighting style. He spent over 10 years fighting under the Bellator banner. However, in a recent interview with Ariel Helwani, he announced he is now a free agent. Page said, “I am currently unemployed [chuckles].” Furthermore, he added that wants to explore his options but did not count out a comeback to Scott Coker‘s promotion.
‘Venom’ wants to know how other promotions value him. He added, “I want to see what other people think of MVP.” When fans heard the news, they were excited about the possibility of him coming to the UFC. Page has lost only two fights in his entire MMA career so far. Meanwhile, UFC fans want to see him fight welterweight stars like Kevin Holland and Stephen Thompson. We will have to wait and see if Dana White considers bringing him to the world’s biggest MMA promotion.
Francis Ngannou to earn big in the Tyson Fury fight
Francis Ngannou finally got his wish to fight Tyson Fury in his first-ever professional boxing match. The fight will not have the WBC title on the line, but it will go down in the official books. Also, ‘The Predator’ recently revealed that the money he will earn from this fight will overshadow what he earned during his entire time in the UFC. He said, “What I was making, what I did make in my last UFC fight, doesn’t even count. It’s not close, not anywhere close.”
Ngannou revealed that he didn’t make much money when he was fighting under the UFC banner. Francis Ngannou’s statement was a wake-up call to the UFC, as they have a history of fight pay issues.
Dana White even mocked Francis Ngannou for wanting to participate in gimmick fights. However, ‘The Predator’ proved him wrong and is now gearing up for the fight which will take place in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, promoted by his own fight promotion, ‘GIMICK.’
Jake Paul offers Nate Diaz $10 million for an MMA fight
‘The Problem Child’ recently shared a post on Twitter, where he addressed the people who were wondering if he’d fight Nate Diaz in an MMA bout. He confirmed that and offered the former UFC star a sum of $10 million to fight inside the Smart Cage in the PFL. He wrote, “10 million to fight me in PFL after we box on August 5th. Offer is still there Nathan.”
For all the clowns saying “why don’t you fight Nate Diaz in the cage.” I made that offer to him from the start. $10M to fight me in PFL after we box on August 5th. Offer is still there Nathan. #PaulDiaz

Instead, he claimed that he’d require more money to accept a cage fight. Diaz said, “It’s going to cost more than that [$10 million].” It is important to note that Nate Diaz was one of the biggest draws during his time in the UFC. He left the UFC with a win because he wanted to explore other avenues. However, we cannot rule out a potential MMA fight between Paul and Diaz in the foreseeable future.
