There is no doubt that entrances have a significant impact on the fight itself. It sets the tone for the fight, boosts the fighters’ spirits, and serves as a fantastic anchor to sell the event and turn it into a spectacle. And several combat sports leagues out there have put it to practice.

Boxing is renowned for doing it rather effectively, whereas WWE is famous for introducing these ostentatious entrances into the combat sports realm. But MMA, which is becoming a fan-favorite sport today, is yet to put this entertainment quotient into practice.

However, MMA competitor A.J. McKee did reverse this tendency when he faced off against Roberto de Souza at the Bellator against RIZIN cross-promotional MMA event. And upon witnessing this, the fans are demanding the same kind of grandiose entrances for UFC fighters, too.

Check out how the fans reacted to this entrance clip from Bellator vs Rizin:

One fan hilariously mentioned the heavyweight boxer Deontay Wilder, who appeared in a somewhat similar get-up for one of his fights:

“Deontay was praying to every God to make McKee lose so he could still have a reason for losing to Fury”

A.J. McKee walked the talk, said a fan:

“He wasn’t playing when he said best walk out in history”

A fan felt such entrances could make for a mockery if you lose the fight:

“If he won, that’s sick. If he lost, it’s just embarrassing lol”

Another fan appeared absolutely stunned by this entrance:

“Woooooow that sh*t slaps”

The UFC desperately needs something like this, feels a fan:

“This is why I dont like how the UFC doesnt let fighters get too creative for entrances. They’re putting their lives on the line for our entertainment, let them have fun and channel the martial artist in them”

All Dana White lacks in the UFC is this, said one fan:

“Dana needs this type of dude”

Another fan went on to term the UFC’s current approach dull:

“I wish people could go this crazy in the UFC. Unfortunately Dana’s a fashion-nazi and the venum deal is kinda lukewarm at best”

According to one supporter, Israel Adesanya making one of these entrances would be a pure spectacle:

“Adesanya would go soo crazy if not for the venum deal and UFC limitations on entrance”

And this does make for a reasonable argument. There are many such UFC stars who have a fanbase across the globe. Conor McGregor, for instance. He is the one of the biggest names in the world today, let alone in the UFC.
