Even after struggling with his form inside the Octagon, Conor McGregor never left his SBG Ireland team. The Notorious stayed loyal to his coaches and teammates. Likewise, they also appreciate his presence in the camp. A Bellator MMA fighter from their camp, Sinead Kavanagh, showing her gratitude towards the biggest superstar in MMA history, recently put out an emotional message for her teammate.

The female featherweight fighter from Scott Coker‘s MMA promotion took to her social platform to showcase her emotions towards her fellow teammate.

“When A Man Who Has A Pure Heart Talent over Everything,” she wrote in her note to The Notorious.

The message reached Conor McGregor, who acknowledged it in his Instagram stories with a heart emoji.

KO holds a professional MMA record of 8-5. She’s at #9 in the women’s pound-for-pound rankings in Bellator MMA. Whereas, for women’s featherweight rankings, she stands at #4.

The 36-year-old Irish professional defeated her fellow compatriot in her last Bellator MMA bout via unanimous decision at Bellator 275 on February 25 of this year. This win came after she challenged Cris Cyborg for the featherweight gold in her prior outing at Bellator 271. Unfortunately for her, the bout didn’t go her way as she lost in the initial round (R1 1:32) via a left hook followed by ref stoppage.

Anyhow, through her trials in her MMA journey, The Notorious has stuck with her. After her remarkable win against Leah McCourt at Bellator 275, the Irish superstar carried her to the back with coach John Kavanagh, also helping the former UFC dual champion. KO apparently had her knee injured during the bout.

Nonetheless, Conor McGregor didn’t let her injury impede her celebration and came out of the crowd to extend her an arm and celebrated her win.

Conor McGregor praised coach John Kavanagh after Bellator 275 success

The Notorious lost a couple of bouts in 2021 to a top lightweight contender Dustin Poirier at UFC 257 and UFC 264. Besides, Sinead Kavanagh dropped her featherweight title bout to Cris Cyborg. Thus, coach Kavanagh was facing some backlash about his role in them, not getting their hand raised.

However, after the spectacular performance of his teammate at Bellator 275, the Irish superstar defended his coach and praised him.
