Joe Rogan, the world’s biggest podcaster, trains regularly even after crossing 50. This helped him maintain tremendous shape. And in his conversation with 8-time Mr. Olympia Ronnie Coleman, Rogan revealed the likes of Coleman and other bodybuilding legends ingrained this quality in him.
Even the bodybuilding icon shared personal details about his life, which included his continuing suffering from injuries. In his conversation on The Joe Rogan Experience, the 58-year-old reflected upon how his back injuries started.

In a rare combination where the UFC legend met The King, the fan in Rogan came out. The martial arts practitioner asked Coleman about his well-documented surgeries.

During their chat, Joe Rogan wondered and asked, “You’ve had a bunch of surgeries… What started that off?”

Ronnie Coleman revealed he had 13 different surgeries post his Mr. Olympia run – one of the best runs in the competition history with 8 consecutive titles.
The King shared, “I kind of hurt my back in high school when I was powerlifting. And then I hurt it again. In college, when I was playing football, [I hurt] my back and neck.”
“[I] did chiropractic for a long time,” said the Mr. Olympia legend.
“One day in the gym, I hurt it. Like, in 96, I kind of herniated a disc. And I guess it just got worse over time.”

Coleman also conveyed that he relied on chiropractic, as he refused the doctor’s advice to rest. The IBFF legend got back to doing what he loved – working out in the gym.
