Barber knew she had Robertson hurt after a good combination and she showed finishing instinct as she follows up to get the job done quickly. She landed a powerful elbow and followed it up with a left hook and threw a couple of more strikes before the referee stopped the fight 3 minutes 4 seconds into the round.

After the win, Barber called out UFC flyweight, Paige Van Zant as both of them already have a rivalry between them. “Paige Van Zant I am giving you a call. Will you answer or not?”

A win for Maycee Barber makes the women’s flyweight division more exciting than it has been for a meaningful period. The flyweight champion, Valentina Shevchenko has been destroying every title contender quite easily. Maycee Barber might be the solution to the scarcity of an exciting and promising title contender in the women’s flyweight division.
